When I was younger I wanted to be a DJ on Star 98.7. I thought, “Wouldn’t it be great to be paid to talk all day”. Alas my dreams of becoming a rock jock never came true, but I still found my way into the storytelling business. Instead of sharing stories through the airways— I weave them into headlines, manifestos, drawings, social captions, and creative content. But I’m not just a writer, I’m a creative. I have an art director's eye, and a copywriter’s tongue. I can whip you up a floorplan or a quick concept sketch. I can talk to you about my love of glass tile and type in the same sentence. I don’t really fit into just one box, and although that might confuse many‑ it’s just who I am. And that’s ok, because it makes me, me… and maybe that’s just KB.
